Feds ‘Purging’ Anti-Terrorism Training

Anti-terrorism training that pictured Muslims as little different from al-Qaeda will be overhauled by Spring, the White House has announced.

The Department of Homeland Security has been tasked with providing an anti-terrorism curriculum that “will purge ‘offensive and inaccurate information’ and disseminate new standards for training down to local law enforcement and even community groups.”

Shame that the Administration has been associated with material now deemed offensive to Muslims. A new web portal will provide the revised training materials and, says the Danger Room blog, unite “government officials and law enforcement with communities targeted by violent extremist radicalization, which will be used to share relevant information.”
