Emergency Response Guide Available From FEMA

Security officers will want to be advised of the latest guidance on handling mass casualty events as issued by the Department of Homeland Security and available for downloading on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) website.

“The (emergency response) guide,” says the Security Management blog, “covers natural disasters, pandemic events, and other emergencies that would affect large amounts of people using scenarios including local high school football games, residential care facility evacuation, and large sporting events.”

The guide’s another piece of required reading to keep apprised of what security management colleagues are up to.
