Schools Not Learning All Their Security Lessons?

When a school intrusion occurs, it’s virtually a reflex for other schools to turn to enhanced electronic security, but that may not be enough to assure safety should new incidents arise.

As the School Security blog notes, enhanced crisis training, updated crisis plans and regularly occurring drills are “other more critical aspects of school safety” than hardware.

Even when administrators don’t especially like to plan or drill for a crisis, it’s important to be done, regularly.
