Egypt: ’18 Days That Shook The World’

This is a post on geopolitics, not site security as such. But it’s in response to the situation in Egypt, which represents an epic security concern for the Middle East and, indeed, for the rest of the world. Thus it’s for your weekend pondering.

Security Debriefs, an astute blog on such matters, makes this prediction: Egypt is headed for an interim democratic “Kerensky Government” ┬áto be succeeded by the Muslim Brotherhood.

“The key, as always,” says Security Debrief, “will be the military and how much they will tolerate.” Read the rest at your leisure, if that’s the word for it.
