A New Plague: Veterans’ Post-Combat Stress

This may seem afield from security at the front gate, and it is – but not for all the U.S. military people returning home with post-traumatic stress disorders. While a debate continues on whether Purple Hearts should be awarded for other than physical wounds, stress claims are overwhelming the Veterans Administration, sometimes with tragic results.

Check with you own area VA hospital to see how its hotline for veterans’ stress disorders is holding up. This issue apparently needs awareness as much as assistance.
