Arkansas might not be where you’d expect a terrorist surge, but that’s the point of security alertness wherever you’re located.
In Arkansas, National Terror Alert reports, the FBI is investigating three attacks on the state’s electrical grid in recent weeks. The latest came on Sunday when more than 10,000 people were blacked out. Two power poles were intentionally cut, and the FBI is offering a $25,000 reward for information on the attacks.
They follow a third incident in September, when a fire destroyed an Entergy Arkansas substation. There were no reported outages then.
