From NFPA: Emergency Planning in Your Pocket

We’re not plugging the iPhone (though it is a cool device). But if you have one, you should know that NFPA’s (National Fire Protection Association) 1600 Standard on┬áDisaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs, 2007 Edition, is available as a free iPhone app.

With it installed, you can have a ready reference on disaster/emergency management planning and operations in both private and public sector organizations available in your pocket or on your hip (wherever you carry your iPhone).

NFPA bills itself as “the authority on fire, electrical and building safety.”

We thank the Disaster Zone blog for this lead.
