Over There, On the Wall, Is ‘Security’ for the Taking

Whoops! The head of security for the World Cup soccer games inadvertently demonstrated how easy it is to be complacent about digital security, at the risk of being scored upon. Sophos Ltd.’s Naked Security blog runs a photo of Luiz Dorea standing in front of a video wall at the “state-of-the-art” security center for the games and there, on the wall, are supposedly secret wi-fi and email addresses available to be copied by any alert troll!

Yes, it’s that easy to be undone if you’re not constantly mindful of your surroundings and any precautions that need to be taken to keep them safe. You may think you’ve covered everything, but look again, please – security is an all-the-time discipline!
